Utilize Health Wins Early Stage Company of the Year
NASHVILLE, Tenn -
2017 started off with a bang for local specialty care coordination company Utilize Health. The company received the Nashville Technology Council’s award for Early Stage Company of the Year. This year’s awards fielded the most nominations since it began seven years ago.
According to the NTC Awards website, “the award is presented to a start-up or emerging growth company that has shown exceptional growth through technological innovation.” The judging panel consisted of many judges, and the companies were selected by open nomination. The winning company was selected by utilizing technology in an innovative way and had to positively impact the region’s economic impact.
Utilize Health’s CTO, Adel Elmessiry, was thrilled with the win. He was quoted as saying, “It’s great to finally be recognized not only as a healthcare company, but as a technology company. Our technology is such an integral part of helping the patient we serve. This allows them to eventually reach their maximum potential for recovery.”
These were the 8th annual NTC awards and there were 14 award categories in total. The other two company finalists for Early Stage Company of the Year, were Ecos and Watershed. The awards were sponsored by Tierpoint, Dell and Novacopy to name a few.
